Started Judo Training in 1962 at the age of 11 years under the direction of Sensei Nick Savo at the Bayonne YMCA. Trained for 3 years, receiving the rank of 3rd kyu Brown Belt.

Started Training in Tae Kwon Do in 1983 under the direction of Sensei Howard and Sensei Shelia Roth. The school was part of the World Tae Kwon Do Association headed by Grandmaster Duk Sung Son, 9th Dan. New York City.

 Teaching The Korean Martial Art of Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do, A Member of the United States Judo Federation.A Senior Member of the Bushi Kobu Jutsu Kyokai. A Member of the World Kobukan Federation. A Member of The World Registry of  Black Belts.  A background in Japanese Karate-do ( Koei-Kan Karate-Do -Shotokan-Okanawan Goju ) featuring a semi-contact fighting style. Combining the Korean / Japanese aspect in the Chung Do Kwan system.  Was introduced to the sport of Kodokan Judo in the early 60's under the directions of Sensei Nick Savo at the Bayonne Y.M.C.A.  A student of judo Sensei Juan Zapata ( D )2001 - 2008   Director of the Bayonne Martial Arts Children's Judo Team  Member of the INTERNATIONAL MARTIAL ARTS OLYMPIC ASSOCIATION,
