Weapons Instructor Richard Ruberto

 Began training on January 01,1973, at the age of 19 years in Isshin Ryu Karate-Do under William Knoblich Sensei. Received Shodan on June 28,1978.

Had exposure to many fine Sensei's in Isshin Ryu, Goju Ryu, Shorin Ryu and several Kobudo ways over many years. Current rank is Nanadan given by Harold Mitchum Sensei on August 10, 2014. (14 years after Rokudan) 

"I am a firm believer in diligent, repetitious training in Kihon Waza. To understand and not just mimic what you are taught. Respect and help others. Conduct yourself in accordance with the true spirit and purpose of Karate-Do in your every day life. Karate and Kobudo may bring us together but being true to it's purpose will keep us together."
